On April 2-3, 2025, representatives of NAIIS took part in the XXIII Annual Conference “Ensuring Trust and Security in the Use of ICT”, organized by the Association of Documentary Telecommunication.
NAIIS President Boris N. Miroshnikov moderated the round table “National Interests and International Cooperation in the Sphere of ICTs”. The discussion covered the current processes of formation and functioning of the international information security (IIS) system as well as the role and position of the Russian Federation in building international cooperation in the sphere of ICTs. Vice-presidents of the Association Anatoly A. Streltsov and Dmitry I. Grigoriev delivered their remarks at this session.
The presentation of Anatoly A. Streltsov touched upon the problematic issues of international cooperation in the ICT environment. In particular, it was noted that the most pressing challenge of cooperation in the field of IIS with friendly states is the formation of a framework to establish and maintain trust in the field of application of norms and principles of international law. In this context, a proposal was made to synchronize activities to promote ICTs to friendly States with conferences to establish cooperation on the application of such norms and principles of IIS as sovereign equality and equal security in the ICT environment.
Dmitry I. Grigoriev spoke about the activities of KOMIB (a subsidiary of NAIIS) in advancing public-private partnership in the field of promoting products of Russian IT companies in the markets of friendly countries. On this track KOMIB is currently working to bring in domestic IS companies to participate in a thematic exhibition on the sidelines of the upcoming XIII International Meeting of High Representatives in Charge of Security Issues, scheduled to be held in Moscow in May 2025.
The event was also attended by representatives of the Office of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the National Coordination Center for Computer Incidents, and other specialized organizations.
