In September 2025, the State University of Management launched the continuing education program “Information Security in the EAEU,” developed by specialists from universities participating in the Eurasian Network University research and education consortium. A part of the program has been developed and is lectured by NAIIS representatives: Anatoly I. Smirnov, Dr.(Hist.Sci.) and Professor at MGIMO University; Ivan V. Surma, PhD (Economics) and Associate Professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; and Pavel A. Karasev, PhD (Political Sciences) and Senior Researcher at the Center for Information Security Issues at the faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University.
The students will gain comprehensive knowledge of International Information Security issues, including existing and emerging threats and challenges. Topics of lectures include the use of ICTs for destructive military-political purposes, including for influencing public and individual consciousness, artificial intelligence, and technological sovereignty.
