The First International Security Forum was held at the Live Arena (Skolkovo) on May 26-29, 2026. It was attended by 145 foreign delegations, 14 international organizations, and approximately 4,500 representatives from 120 countries. The Forum received a welcome address from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Forum included the 14th International Meeting of High Representatives Responsible for Security Issues, a number of thematic roundtables, seminars, and scientific and practical conferences. NAIIS President Boris N. Miroshnikov and Vice President Dmitri I. Grigoriev participated in the Forum’s Organizing Committee, chaired by First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid G. Nurgaliev.
The first June 27 session of the Forum began with a roundtable discussion on “International Cooperation on Information Security.” Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander S. Alimov opened the discussion. High-ranking diplomats and officials from Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, as well as representatives of Russian information security companies, participated in the roundtable.
Boris N. Miroshnikov delivered a presentation “The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in Advancing International Information Security.” The President of NAIIS emphasized the Association’s role in strengthening international security in the digital age by developing multilateral IIS negotiations and developing measures to counter cyberthreats and digital challenges.
In conclusion, Boris N. Miroshnikov invited all those present to participate in the 20th International Forum “Partnership of State authorities, Civil society and the Business community in ensuring International Information Security,” which will be held by NAIIS on September 22–24, 2026, in Moscow.
